Temraza brand was born:
Creative Director, Lead Designer, and Brand Founder Farida Temraz wanted to start a fashion brand that would bring Egypt to the forefront of global fashion. She didn't necessarily have a design background, but with $300 and a sewing machine, she started her fashion line. Temraza was born.
How Temraza became a well-known brand:
In 2013, Temraz was invited to showcase her collection at London Fashion Week. She then debuted her first collection at Paris Fashion Week in 2014, where she was the first Egyptian to win First Place out of 15 International designers. Temraz is also the first Egyptian to win "Best Female Couture Designer" in New York Fashion Week. She went on to do other fashion shows in Los Angeles, Beirut, Dubai, and Kuwait.
Since then, Temraza has garnered lots of attention for both its incredible style and its mission to bring Egyptian-made clothing into the global fashion conversation. It has been worn by Hollywood elites and international VIPs on the red carpet at the Academy Awards, Grammys, Emmy Awards, Screen Actors Guild Awards, Cannes Film Festival, Venice Film Festival, CMT Awards, and many more prestigious global events.
Farida Temraz the brand leader:
Temraz owns her unique position in the fashion market by collecting materials from all over the world but designing and creating in Egypt. She isn't just an Egyptian designer, her team and creations are all out of Egypt. In doing so, she garnered international acclaim by becoming the Egyptian fashion ambassador to the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In 2017 Temraz registered her trademark which was a combination mark of the word Temraza and the T logo in Egypt in classes 25 and 42 covering clothing products on Class 25 of the Nice Classification for trademarks and Class 42 for fashion design services. Besides that registration, Temraza has not invested further in brand protection. We love the style and clothes and would be very excited to work on an IP protection strategy for Temraza which can be accompanied by an IP commercialization strategy on how you grow your footprint through commercialization.

Challenges the brand faced:
The COVID pandemic posed a challenge for Temraz and her team. She feared closing the business would negatively impact her workers. So she got creative and put on Egypt's first virtual fashion show. It was a success, with over 500 people tuning in live. It proved that, after almost a decade of ever-growing success, Temraza had no plans on slowing down.
Latest achievement for Temraza the brand:
Her new collection, the EVOLUTION OF THE, is a collection designed for #TEMpowerment. Just like members of our team and our co-founders, she is passionate, experienced, self-made, and determined. Her dresses are any girl's dream! We trust she has many more successes to come and look forward to seeing her trademark on multiple products and services all over the world!
